Pokejem / Our Promise
◆ Our Promise · What we stand for
We don't fix a card just to fix it.
Restoration is careful, hands-on work on a card that means something to you. We take that seriously. Every card is assessed first, and we only go ahead when the work is worth doing and safe for the card. If it isn't, we tell you.
"If a card isn't worth restoring, or the risk is bigger than the gain, we will say so and hand it back as it came. We would rather lose the job than take your money for work your card doesn't need."
◆ What we stand for
Six things we never compromise on
- 01
We assess before we touch
Every card is checked from your photos first, then again under the microscope at drop-off. Every crease, dent, scratch and lift is mapped before we decide anything.
- 02
Worth it, or we say no
We only proceed when the improvement is real and worth the cost to you. If the fix won't make a meaningful difference, we tell you to leave the card as it is.
- 03
You decide, with the full picture
You get our honest view of what is fixable, what isn't, the risks and the exact price. Nothing starts until you approve the plan.
- 04
The card comes first
Hand work and reversible methods only. No trimming, no added card stock, no resurfacing and no harsh chemicals. If a card stops responding safely, we stop.
- 05
Honest about limits
Not every card can be fixed. Edge whitening, for example, is a last resort with about a 70% success rate, and heavy whitening can be voided by PSA. You hear that upfront, not after.
- 06
Nothing hidden
One specialist from assessment to handover, met face to face. Your card is photographed at every step, and if we can't improve it safely, we tell you before any work begins.
◆ When we say no
Times we will tell you not to restore
- The gain is too small. The damage is minor and fixing it won't change how the card looks, displays or grades in a way that matters.
- The risk is bigger than the reward. For example, heavy edge whitening on a card you plan to send for grading.
- The card can't take it. The surface or edges are too worn or fragile to work on safely.
- It isn't worth the money to you. The cost of the work is more than the improvement is worth. Our guide Is card restoration worth it? walks through how to decide.
We'd rather give you an honest "leave it" than a fix your card doesn't need.
